Our first practice is just around the corner.  All of the Truth gear has been ordered and is on schedule for delivery for our season.  I need to collect the outstanding Team fees and Misc fees at the first practice.   You can check your balance online by going to http://truthfootball.org/?page_id=149,  look at the right most column “Owed$”.  Please bring CASH or Check to practice.  If you would like to mail your fees, please send them to:

The Schedule is posted on the Website.  http://truthfootball.org/?page_id=24.  I will have a map to Bacchus Park to pinpoint our exact practice location later this week.  Always check the website for any changes to the schedule and for the latest Information.  The first 4 practices will be Helmets and Mouth Guard only.  Be sure the mouth guard is molded and trimmed for comfort.  Athletes need to wear shorts, cleats, t-shirts and helmets.  Start breaking in your new cleats now.  I have received a few questions about athletic cups.  We do not require any players to wear a cup. It is completely the players choice if he wants to wear one.  If you would like my opinion on please email or talk to me at practice.  All Practices will be 2 hours and may run over to answers questions.

The Coaches are working hard behind the scenes to get ready for the season.  We are excited to get started.  Players can start preparing their body.  Players need to stop drinking soda NOW, and start drink plenty of water.  Players need to get outside in the heat for at least 1 hour a day and consume about 2 liters of water in 24 hour period (100 lb athlete).  Prior to conditioning practice be sure to be well hydrated and consume a high carbohydrate diet.  Avoid milk, cheese or anything that might upset their stomach.  

I know all of this sounds way over the top but I want to give your athlete every advantage to be the best he can be.  The first two weeks can be very difficult but at the same time will be very rewarding.
