Hello my name is Coach Brad and I am one of the assistant coaches for the TRUTH. I will be handling the primary communication, scheduling and budget for the team. It is that time of the summer that we are starting to prepare for fall football. I would like to welcome you all to the Frisco TRUTH. The coaches and I are excited about this upcoming fall season.
We are going to have our first TRUTH team meeting on Saturday July 9th at 6:00 PM. Please meet at the Warren Park Pavilion opposite of the Tennis Courts. At this meeting we will cover the following:
Collect Helmets for custom painting (Black w/ gold fleck)
Uniform Fitting: – including pants and practice jersey (Vegas gold and black)
Team Rules: – What is expected of each player
Team Fees Collected – total $125/player (cover team expenses)
TRUTH t-shirt orders ($10 each)
Auto Decal Orders ($12 each)
Game DVD Orders ($50 for whole season)

Our first practice will be August 13th at 8:00 AM (most likely). We will spend the entire first week in helmets only conditioning. It is important that everyone be at all 4 practices the first week so everyone can go into full pads together on August 20th. Our hope is to practice Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, we have not been assigned a practice field yet. Last year we practiced at Bacchus park. We will not get our official practice location until late July. I will let you know as soon as the league assigns them.
I will be collecting everyone’s helmets at the meeting to be reconditioned and custom painted. Our helmets are going to be painted Black with a Gold Fleck. 
The Truth logo will change colors slightly to match (see attached). Those that are playing summer Arena Football need to find an alternate helmet to use for the last two games of the season. If you need help finding one please let me know and I can help you.
A few have asked “What can I be doing now to get my son ready for fall?” The best thing you can do for your player now is get them outside and exercising. Help them get acclimated to the heat and keep them well hydrated. The more they wear their helmet now the better off they will be when it come practice time. Helmets add 5 lbs. or more of additional weight to a each players head. By wearing the helmet it will help strengthen your players neck and help them through conditioning. We pride our team on being the most conditioned and most efficient team in the FFL.
